This covers installation and maintenance of lighting columns, luminaires, and the overhead connection from the network to the lighting circuit, including work at height on live network assets.

Any lighting connected to the Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy overhead network — rather than a private underground supply — requires an ASP for installation and maintenance.

Rather than subcontracting access or closing lanes for scaffolding, we deploy our own EWP for safe overhead connection and luminaire installation at height. Street & Car Park Lighting Installation Process
Site Survey
We assess the lighting layout, pole positions, existing network connection points, and EWP access requirements including ground conditions and traffic management.
Design & DNSP Application
Lighting design is prepared and an application submitted to Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy for connection approval and energisation scheduling.
Civil & Electrical Coordination
We coordinate with civil contractors for pole bases, conduit runs, and footing installation where required before electrical connection.
EWP Installation
Our cherry picker is deployed for safe overhead connection and luminaire installation at height, with traffic management in place where required.
Testing & Certification
Lighting circuits are tested, a certificate of compliance is issued, and DNSP energisation is confirmed for the new or upgraded installation.
