Overhead service mains are the conductors that run from the network pole to your premises — on the network side of the service fuse. This is the critical link between the electricity distributor's infrastructure and your property's main switchboard. In NSW, only Class 2A accredited electricians are authorised to install, repair, or modify these conductors under Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy supervision.

Class 2A accreditation is not optional for this work — it is a legal requirement enforced by NSW Fair Trading and the network distributors.
