Builder's Pole Installation

A builder's pole is a freestanding temporary power pole installed on a construction site to carry the incoming service mains and temporary switchboard for the duration of the build. Rather than connecting the TBS directly to a building structure that may not yet exist — or that will be demolished — the builder's pole provides a stable, compliant point of attachment for the temporary supply. The pole must be installed to Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy specifications including correct height, setback, and safety clearances, and requires a Level 2 ASP for installation and connection.

Builder's poles are standard on knockdown-rebuild sites across Sydney where the existing structure is demolished before the new build begins, leaving no attachment point for overhead service mains. They are equally common on greenfield lots in growth corridors like Marsden Park, Box Hill, and Oran Park where no infrastructure exists yet. We supply the pole — no need to source separately — and install it to DNSP specifications including the temporary switchboard enclosure, metering provision, and all required safety equipment.
